Setup Guide: Windows Mail

Step 1:
Open Windows Mail and select Accounts and then Add Account

Step 2:
Select Advance Setup and select Internet Email for POP or IMAP accounts.

Step 3:
Enter account settings – Fill in the following fields using the settings provided by your email hosting provider:

Your Name: Your full name or display name
Email Address: Your professional email address (e.g., yourname@yourdomain.com)
Account Type: IMAP4 or POP3, depending on your provider’s recommendation.
Incoming mail server: The IMAP – imap.freecom.net or POP3 – pop.freecom.net server address
Outgoing mail server (SMTP): The SMTP server – smtp.freecom.net address
User Name: Your full professional email address
Password: The password associated with your email address

Select: Outgoing server requires authentication

Enter your Outgoing server username and password

Step 4
Press Sign In to save account
