Archiving emails in Microsoft Outlook is a useful way to declutter your inbox while keeping important emails accessible for future reference. Follow these steps to efficiently archive your emails.
Manual Archiving
Option 1: Use the Archive Button
- Go to your inbox or any folder containing the emails you want to archive.
- Select the email(s) to archive. Hold down the Ctrl key to select multiple emails.
- Click the Archive button in the ribbon at the top (available in newer versions of Outlook).
If prompted, Outlook will move the selected email(s) to the default archive folder.
Option 2: Drag and Drop
- Locate the Archive folder in your folder list (usually under your inbox).
- Drag and drop the selected emails into this folder.
